In 2016 I successfully negotiated a full-tuition, three-year scholarship and books for myself at Drexel Kline Law, with an LSAT score of 152. That is the fact I will put on the table. I will not dress it up as a ranking, an award, or a secret method.
The number was not the story the market wanted. The scholarship still had to be asked for, documented, and held. I remember what that fight felt like. That is the work I now offer other people — with the same honesty about what cannot be promised.
What I am
A New Jersey and North Carolina attorney. A parent. A solo practice.
I am Bonnie B. Henderson, Esq., admitted in New Jersey and North Carolina. I built this practice to help applicants pursue strong scholarship outcomes and a file that can carry the rest of the conversation.
I am a woman who owns her own practice and a mom who knows what a tuition bill does to a household. Those are facts about who is sitting on the other side of the call. They are not a marketing badge I will overwork.
Services are remote throughout the United States. If you are applying from anywhere in the country, the work can happen by video and email.
How I work with applicants
Direct about the file. Direct about the money.
I will tell you when a draft is not doing its job. I will tell you when a school list is wishful. I will tell you when a scholarship ask is premature — and when waiting is leaving money on the table.
If you want someone who used to work in an admissions office, that is a different consultant. If you want someone who had to make a 152 and a scholarship negotiation add up to three years of law school, we can talk.
